From 1956 to 1958, skiffle became the music of young people throughout the country. From the star professionals like Lonnie Donegan and Chas McDewitt through to youth club and coffee bar bands 'having a go' the craze took hold.
Join Hop, Skiffle and Jump as they showcase how simple this acoustic music was and how it formed the bedrock of what was to come - the pop explosion of the 60's, launching the careers of the Beatles, The Rolling Stones and many other global superstars.
Hop, Skiffle and Jump play the songs of skiffle, telling the stories behind the personalities and getting the audience involved along the way. A truly unforgettable show for any fan of blues, skiffle and music history.
