Join the City of Boulder's Office of Arts and Culture for free walking tours of downtown Boulder's public art this summer. Each 1.5-hour tour features around 30 stops, showcasing a variety of sculptures, murals, and urban design projects, from installations as early as 1977 to pieces from 2024. Tours start at the corner of 17th and Pearl Street and conclude at the farmers' market.
This is our first summer doing these tours, and they're already very popular. If your desired date is full, please email publicart@bouldercolorad.gov with the subject "Waitlist" and specify which date.
Schedule: - Saturdays at 9 a.m. - Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. - Check available dates below
What to Bring: - Walking shoes - Water bottles - Weather-appropriate clothing (hats, sunglasses) - Sunscreen
Registration: - Required for all participants - Tours may be canceled if fewer than two people register or due to inclement weather. Registered participants will be notified of changes.
Tour participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Boulder and all City of Boulder officers and employees from any claims or damages that may arise as a result of the tour and release the City from all liability for injury and damage.

Different ability levels are welcome. The tour will follow paved sidewalks and paths that are suitable for wheelchairs, strollers, etc. If you're walking, expect ~2 miles and don't forget water, sunscreen, and walking shoes.
