Join Brighton and Hove's LGBTQ+ Rainbow Chorus on Saturday 29th June 2024 at St Georges Church Kemptown, as they entertain you with a sumptuous summer concert of two halves. Tickets are now on sale for the Pergolesi and Pimms where you can expect a fun and uplifting evening of songs including a new choral arrangement of Stabat Mater, one of Pergolesi's most celebrated sacred works juxtaposed against our usual mix of uplifting pop and standards. It has been 12 years since the choir last performed Stabat Mater to rave reviews, so you are in for a real treat!
The evening is hosted by our amazing Musical Director Aneesa Chaudhry and our incredibly talented new accompanist Olly Parr supported by the brilliant BSL interpreter Marco Nardi.
Other songs include Bring Me Sunshine, May It Be, Total Eclipse Of The Heart, This Is Me and many more.
The Rainbow Chorus will also have their famous raffle of beautiful and stuffed Hampers, so make sure you keep an eye out for a ticket or two to be in with a chance to win. And theres always the chance to treat yourself to a glass or two of Pimms from our well-stocked bar.
So get your tickets now and put the date in your diary for what promises to be a fantastic, diverse uplifting evening of entertainment! To learn more about the Rainbow Chorus and their award-winning RC+ community singing group, check out their website here.
