Those Brazen Wenches Theatre Company presents Men of Parts, a new play by Rosalind Reynolds, directed by Dawn Hunter. Performances April 21, 22, 28, and 29 at 7:30 pm, and April 23 and 30 at 2 pm, at the New Prospect Theatre in Bellingham, WA. Tickets $15 general, $10 students, from Brown Paper Tickets, or at the door. London, 1525. A ragtag company of actors struggles to mount a production of The Deeds of Robin Hood, while evading angry sheriffs, greedy publishers, vengeful husbands, landlords, lawyers, bears, and their own checkered pasts. All while asking themselves as one does what would Robin Hood do?
Rosalind Reynolds is a former playwright-in-residence of the iDiOM Theater. Her previous works include Godlike, Julian the Humble, The Wingmaker, and Branwen Spikes the Drink. Dawn Hunter is a long-time actor and director with the iDiOM Theater. Together they founded Those Brazen Wenches Theatre Company in 2022, with the mission of smashing the patriarchy in entertaining ways.
