Quartet Champions of Evergreen District (QCED) will present a program of popular songs sung in the barbershop-harmony style at 6 pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Ocean Shores Convention Center. The program will be the first presented by the organization since before the Covid pandemic, which now seems like a long time ago. The title of the show will be, appropriately, Seems Like Old Times.
Performers in the production are all members of the international Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). QCED, (pronounced Q-said) is composed of singers who have won an annual quartet-singing championship in Evergreen District, a region of BHS that is composed of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, western Montana, British Columbia, Alberta and Alaska.
Tickets to the February 11 show in Ocean Shores are available, at $20 for adults and $15 for youth under 20, either online at Brown Paper Tickets or at various locations in Aberdeen, Hoquiam and Ocean Shores. Tickets will also be available at the door, and more information is available at https://www.qcedshow.com
The championship quartets and outstanding chorus are sure to excite and entertain you. Your ticket will pay for an entire seat but you will probably only use the edge of it. |
