On March 10th The Seagull Projects (TSP) long running short story series "Great Souls" returns in partnership with Hugo House. TSP returns to Hugo House for an evening curated by the Writers in Residence of Hugo House, Kristen Millares Young and Laura Da. Each writer curates one half of the evening, featuring their own writing, and a short story of their choosing. The work will then be performed by TSP actors.
The evening will include a selection of Kristen Millares Youngs "Subduction," "Chewbacca and Clyde" from Corinne Mannings upcoming short story collection We Had No Rules, Laura Das poem "American Towns," and "The Stone" by Louise Erdrich. The evening is estimated to run one hour with no intermission. It is directed by TSP company member, Hannah Victoria Franklin, and performed by Nicole Suyama and Marion Jacobs.
The evening will cost $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online. March 10th, 7PM, Hugo House. |
