New York Songwriter's Circle March 2nd Show
Join Us Monday, March 2nd for the next round in our award-winning Songwriter's Circle.
The Evening will feature -

Britt Hewitt is in her final year studying vocal arts at The Juilliard School. She specializes in 20th and 21st century English language opera and song. She composes pop, rock, and theatre music. You can hear more of her work and learn about upcoming performances on her website: britthewitt.com

Julian Hornik is a Brooklyn-based composer/lyricist whose songs have been performed at the Kennedy Center, New York City Center, Carnegie Hall, and Walt Disney Hall. His oratorio commissioned by the San Francisco Gay Mens Chorus premieres at Davies Symphony Hall on March 27th. Julian is the recipient of the 2017 Lucille and Jack Yellen Award and the 2018 Sammy Cahn Award from the ASCAP Foundation, Yales Norman Holmes Pearson Prize, and is a 2020 Larson Grant finalist.

 Tina Shafer is a multi-platinum songwriter having sold over 33 million records and written for such artists as Celine Dion, Phoebe Snow, Donna Summers, Sheena Easton, and Billy Porter
 She has been the Director of booking and hosting the New York Songwriters Circle since 1991.
Home to many Grammy-winning artists and songwriters

Julie Gold is a NY City singer-songwriter, best known for her Grammy-winning global anthem, FROM A DISTANCE, made famous by Bette Midler.
Her songs have also been recorded by revered artists,  Patti LaBelle, Jewel, Judy Collins, Jack Jones, Lea Salonga, Patti LuPone, The Byrds and Cliff Richard,  to name a few.

Oliver Houser
He is a recent Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellow and winner of the inaugural Stephen Schwartz Award, the ASCAP Foundation Sammy Cahn Award and a SongSpace Grant. His work has been performed and developed at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, the Village Theatre, the Annual National Alliance for Musical Theatre Conference (NAMT), the SoHo Playhouse, the New York Musical Festival (NYMF), the New York International Fringe Festival, the Other Palace Theatre in the UK and other venues across the United States.
