Tom Kimmel and Tom Prasada-Rao Coffee House Concert
We are excited to welcome back Tom Kimmel, a world-renown singer song-writer whose music has been performed by artists like Joe Cocker, Johnny Cash, Stray Cats, Maura O'Connell, the Spinners, and Linda Ronstadt. He will be joined by Tom Prasada-Rao (TPR) a popular performer in the D.C. area since the early-1990s. TPR is the winner of a WAMMIE (Washington area music association) award as "Best Male vocalist."
TPR and Tom Kimmel first met in 1993, when both were winners of the New Folk competition. Since that time they have toured together on both coasts and points between. Close friends for years, often passing like ships in the night as they pursued solo careers, they also found common ground to collaborate.
Unity by the Bay provides a beautiful venue with great acoustics, comfortable seating and light refreshments available for purchase.
