The Genius of Women: Author Talk & Book Signing
Join the JCCNNJ for a celebration of Womens History Month.
Come meet Janice Kaplan, the New York Times bestselling author of The Gratitude Diaries, as she talks about her exciting new book The Genius of Women: From Overlooked to Changing the World. In this powerful book, she explores why the extraordinary talents of so many women have been brushed aside, and she celebrates the women geniuses past and present who have triumphed anyway.
In her research, Ms. Kaplan interviewed neuroscientists, psychologists, and dozens of women geniuses at work in the world today including Nobel Prize winner Frances Arnold and AI expert Fei-Fei Li. She discovered that genius isn't just about talent. It's about having that talent recognized, nurtured, and celebrated.
She will explain how some women across the generations managed to ignore obstacles and break down seemingly unshakable barriers, and she will explain the traits that women geniuses have in common. In this inspiring discussion, you will learn what each of us can do to follow the path of women geniuses and fulfill our own potential.
