Join Nan Sterman at Two Forks Farm in La Mesa for this seed starting workshop. Then, stay for a farm tour and optional farm-to-table lunch.
Since 2010, Nan Sterman has taught hundreds of people to start vegetables, herbs, and flowers from seed. Nan hosts public TV's award -winning A Growing Passion, is author of several books and articles including her most recent book, Hot Color, Dry Garden.
This workshop is your chance to learn Nan's easy, hands-on methods and secret tips for growing and feeding your family wholesome, organic produce from your backyard or your balcony.
Nan brings the seeds and supplies. You take home tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, melons, pumpkins, sunflowers and so much more, all seeded and ready to sprout.
You'll also be armed with supplies to plant in the future, and you'll be added to Nan's private Seed Starters Facebook group for ongoing support and information.
Even experienced seed starters love this workshop - some come every year!
One person per signup. Minimum of 10 people and maximum of 20 people per workshop.
Suited for children (with an adult) ages 12 and older, limit of one child per adult.
