On Saturday, March 7, The Thematics return to the Ojai Art Center! Its been a year since we last got together, and we're really looking forward to it!

The Thematics are Charlie Bosson, Jimmy Calire, Tara Jeffery, Virginia Kron, Kerenza Peacock, Rain Perry, Greg Weiser, J.B. White and Martin Young.

The theme of the show is "California, I Love You" (inspired by the song from Rain's most recent album): music that celebrates and contemplates the Golden State in all its glory and complexity. Along with Rain's song, we will feature works by (among others) Dave Alvin, John Fogerty, Gordon Jenkins, Randy Newman, Chuck Prophet, and Otis Redding, as well as from the traditional canon. We are especially pleased to be premiering a new work written especially for the show by Ojai's John Biggs!
