Join us on October 2-3, 2020 for our second Author event at Kroger Field in Lexington, KY!
This event is intended for guests 15+; you will be asked to show your ID before entering the event. Everyone who enters will need a ticket.
We have 50 Amazing authors signed up to sign and our goal is 60! More to come

Thursday: Registration will be open from 10 AM - 4 PM at the Hotel
Friday Event for VIP only: Doors open at the stadium 2 PM for VIP registration and the event kicks off at 4 PM - 7 PM. (Registration at the Stadium)
Saturday: Doors open at 9:00 a.m. to staff, authors, vendors, & volunteers. The doors will open to the public at 10:00 a.m. We will be occupying the Field Club and Woodford Reserve Club for the event.

VIP TICKETS: What is included in a VIP Ticket?
VIP BLUE $150: For those who plan on coming in early, this is the ticket for you!
You will be included in Thursdays horse racing adventures; this includes your seat on the tour bus, entry to the horse races, plus some quality one on one time with the authors who also are coming in early. We do NOT have a list of authors yet, but I will have this coming this summer! You will get direct access to Friday nights Meet N Greet, Social Mixer, Appetizers, *Cash bar and personal signing with the authors until 7 PM! Doors open at 2 PM for registration. You will also get a tote filled with goodies: Event T-Shirt, Event Book Sleeve, 5 Raffle Tickets + 8 free books from attending authors with a digital code that you will pick up Thursday or Friday at registration.
*You are responsible for paying for your own drinks at Fridays mixer/social event.
*There will be a 3 book max per author on Friday nights signing to make sure everyone has time to visit with the authors present. You will have ample time Saturday to get your other books signed if you have them.

VIP GOLD $100: For those of you who cant come in until Friday but still want to participate in the VIP treatment!

General Admission $30: 6 Hour Admission to the event + a tote bag and 1 Raffle Ticket
Tickets will be sold at the door the day of the event!
~ Everyone who purchases a ticket will get a tote bag!

Saturday Session:
12 PM - 6 PM We will have signing authors upstairs and downstairs for this 2020 event.
There are elevators for those who might need them!

About the Event:
Book Limit: You can have up to 7 books signed by each author, then you have to get back in line for the fairness of all readers who want to meet each author.
Author Lines:  We will have a wrist band system in place again this year, but you will now pick up your wrist bands when you register. You will receive randomized wristbands for each author you need.
Model Policy:  While we love our cover models, this event is to showcase the authors. Therefore, we are not allowing models to accompany authors at their tables.
Field Club: Lower Level, Authors & Vendors will be located here.
Woodford Reserve Club: Upper level, Authors & Vendors will be located here.
Book Vendor: TBA we are in negotiations
Other Vendors: TBA we have yet to make final decisions on this, but we will have some amazing vendors for you!
Pop-up Giveaways: We will be setting up pop-up giveaways throughout the event; these will be fun gifts & gift cards to you, the readers.
Raffle Trunks: We did this in 2017 and they were a huge hit!
We will have 2 Trunks to be raffled off and our Charity this year is the BookWorm Box. More info to come on this!
Hotel: Embassy Suites at Lexington Green, (859) 271-4000, 245 Lexington Green Circle, Lexington, KY. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport.
Ticket Refund Policy: Full refund available up until July 1st, after July 1st there will be no refunds issued. It will be possible to transfer your ticket to another reader who is interested in this event, but we will need to be contacted to do so. You have until September 1st to transfer ALL tickets.
Airport: The Local Airport is LEX, it is a quick ride to and from the hotel.
If you are okay to drive a bit and grab a rental, Lousiville is not too far and might be a cheaper option Airport Code: SDF

FAQs:
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes, you must show your ID to enter the event, and no one under 15 will be permitted.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is FREE, and we have PLENTY of it! You will need to set up transportation to and from the event space.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, until September 1st, 2020.

Does my friend/spouse/significant other need a ticket to enter the event?
Yes, anyone who enters the event needs a ticket.

Is this handicap accessible?
Yes, the events space is large enough to accommodate wheelchairs easily, and there are four elevators for access.

Are there T-shirts available for purchase?
We are working on this + A Store is coming!

Is there a book list available?
Yes, there will be a list for you to check closer to the time of the event.

What do I do when I first arrive?
Come on in the building, register, and Volunteers will be leading you where to line up

Do I need to bring cash?
Cash is faster and sometimes the card swipe devices don't always work. But cash and credit are accepted!

Will the authors have books that I can purchase from them?
The authors will have books for sale at their tables or you may purchase online prior to the event. For those who are traditionally published, you can purchase their book(s) through the book vendor or purchase online before you come to the event.

What will the authors sign?
Anything you bring with you!

Will there be a seating chart shared with attendees?
Yes, this will be accessible 2 days prior to the event, unless other changes need to be made. * This is subject to change.
