BIO J.D. Miller and Broken Heart Rodeo:
The band was formed on a dark and stormy night. They were workin' to wrangle some horses who had gotten spooked by the lightenin'. After the horses had been returned safely to their stables, J.D., Huck, Cletis, Beth, Simon, Kevin and Jackson sat inside around the woodstove, sippin' hot cocoa, and tryin' to warm up. Suddenly J.D. pulled out a guitar and broke into song, followed by Huck and Beth. Hearin' their beautiful singin' Simon fashioned a single string bass out of a broom handle and wash tub. Jackson made a fiddle and bow out of a cigar box, horse hair, and a deer antler. Kevin found an old whiskey barrel and some sticks. Cletis built a pedal steel guitar out of a 2x4, nails, and a high voltage power line. Mike Balas kept everyone in line with his soulful lead guitar licks. That stormy night, J.D. Miller and Broken Heart Rodeo was formed.

BIO Holy Smokes:
Old school country swing with a healthy dose of original song writing feat. some of Eugene's finest musicians.
