"Lyla School" by Brian Kettler, tells the story of two friends driven apart when a violent event occurs during a process-drama simulation. After 20 years Mary and Ahmed reunite. Still haunted by their tragic pasts, they fight to move forward with their lives and uncover the lingering mysteries of Lyla School.
RITE OUT LOUD is Austin Scottish Rite Theater's ongoing Staged Reading Series, culminating each summer in a stunning Staged Reading Festival. Enjoy these samplings of new works, staged and read by some of Austin's finest artists.
Housed in one of Austin's most historic buildings, Austin Scottish Rite Theater is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to share and preserve the historic Masonic facility, serving the greater community through high quality performing arts, educational programs, and events.
