Join renowned New England paranormalist and Old Slater Mill interpreter Carl L. Johnson for a guided, after-dark investigation of the historic 1793 Old Slater Mill factory, the 1810 Wilkinson Mill waterwheel bay, and the 1758 Sylvanus Brown House.
The 1793 Old Slater Mill in Pawtucket, RI is reputed to be one of the most haunted historic structures in America. And for good reason. As birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, it was the site of early experimentation in textile production. The circumstance of fatal or disfiguring industrial accidents, and the hardship experienced be child laborers toiling for long hours, are part of the darker history of America's first successful cotton spinning factory.
