Join us for "Gather In: Coming Together to Celebrate Partnerships," Friday, November 1, 2019, at 6:30 pm, a gala fundraiser to benefit St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church! This is a true community event and celebration of relationships with our many partners, including special honorees Bryan Doerries, Artistic Director of Theater of War Productions, and Estela Johannesen of James Weir Florist, a much-loved local business.

In different -- but equally important -- ways, the work of these two collaborators represents the spirit of partnership and reflects the community values held by the people of St. Ann's. Doerries, the NYC Public Artist-in-Residence, mounted a riveting 10-week production of "Antigone in Ferguson" in our sanctuary earlier this year, and Johannesen, a stalwart supporter of St. Ann's, is this year's winner of the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens Greenest Block (Commercial) and helps keeps Montague Street beautiful in every season.

This year St. Ann's expanded our role as a community commons in Brooklyn Heights and the list of our new cultural partners keeps growing. We welcomed back the Brooklyn Folk Festival, the Brooklyn Book Festival, The Moth, the String Orchestra of Brooklyn, Grace Chorale, and Books Are Magic.

St. Ann's serves our neighbors in need, as members prepare hundreds of sandwiches and meals for homeless and working poor individuals and families in Brooklyn each month. We join national and local service campaigns, including the Volunteers for America's Operation Backpack, the New York Cares Coat Drive, and CAMBAs Toys for Tots.

"Gather In!" kicks off with a cocktail reception in the church, and then moves into the parish hall where we will serve a veritable tasting menu of food and drink from local purveyors. Singer Marcelle Davies-Lashley ("Antigone in Ferguson") and accompanist Nick Balaban will wow you with performances throughout the evening. In addition to a full heart, you can take home prizes from a raffle and silent auction!

Tickets are priced at varying levels and you can make an additional donation as well. If you cannot attend, you may also donate here to sponsor someone who cannot afford a ticket.

We celebrate our partnership with you and deeply appreciate your support for St. Ann's!
