In this hands-on workshop, youll learn the basics of sashiko, a Japanese style of visible mending, by creating your own sashiko style denim patch. A great class for beginners and seasoned stitchers alike, this workshop combines elements of texture, color and function to create your own one of a kind patch, or denim mending project. All materials are provided by the instructor, but bring a pair of torn jeans if you have them. $30 registration fee includes all supplies, as well as sashiko needles to take home.
