Join Grassroots Remedies Co-op for a day in the Bellhaven Community Garden to discover our wild and cultivated seasonal plants & remedies that grow on our doorstep. The day will include a herb walk inside the community garden and then along the coast where we will be harvesting herbs and making seasonal remedies together. We will be covering ecologically aware foraging, plant identification, the edible and medicinal uses of our abundant wild plants, how to make the most out of them by preserving the harvest into herbal remedies together and of course sharing herbal teas! Bring waterproofs, suitable shoes for walking, a notebook and a packed lunch. |
