MOMOTOMBO SF
Momotombo SF Co-Founders Leo Rosales (Malo), and
Gabriel Manzo (Malo), have brought together
Dave Margen (Santana), Bill Ortiz (Santana),
David George (Malo), Devan Bolding (Jorge Santana Band),
Bob Crawford (Jorge Santana Band), Frank Bailey (Malo),
Mike Rinta (Pacific Mambo Orch.), Ahkeel Mestayer (Soltron).

Together they form Momotombo SF, a Latin Rock production  comprised of legendary San Francisco Bay Area musicians
who bring together Latin rhythms, Afro Cuban beats, jazz and Rock to create that loved exciting, powerful Latin Rock sound.

The inspiration for the band's name Momotombo SF, comes from the first song on the Malo Dos album (1972). Momotombo is a volcano in Managua, Nicaragua. It stands on the shores of Lago de Managua, Nicaragua, and just like that volcano this group known as Momotombo SF is ready to erupt!

SF is for San Francisco, of course, where the explosive sound of Latin Rock all started.
