Folk and Americana from Scotland and The Heart. Charlie had been out of the limelight for some time however, he recently returned to music with renewed vigour subsequent to major heart surgery. His first album in almost 20 years, Wasted and Wounded (Medicine Hat Records), was received to much acclaim. Enigmatic with a 21st century glint in his eye! Charlie seems to think he is in Greenwich Village NYC in the sixties with the Mayor of MacDougall Street himself, Dave Van Ronk. Charlie hails from Glasgow, Scotland, having resided in Canada a lifetime ago!
