Iona Fyfe: Songs of the North East at AMC @ UCC / AMC2019
Join the MG ALBA Scots Singer of the Year (2018) for an intimate performance of Scots Songs of the North East. With AMC sell-outs in 2017 and 2018 Iona is one of Scotland's foremost young folksingers, rooted deeply in the traditions of her native Aberdeenshire. At age 21 years Iona launched her debut album, Away From My Window, to a sell-out audience at Celtic Connections, followed by a new EP, Dark Turn of Mind: "a new interpretation to the country genre" (Maverick). "One of the best that Scotland has to offer" (Global-Music.de).
