Class Description

1. Papermaking / Suzi Ballenger

May 1 - May 22, (Wed. Evenings) 6:00 - 8:30 pm

** 7 SEATS MAX **

Professional textile artist Suzi Ballenger teaches the paper-making process: how to embed, layer, shape, and color the pulp. Students will leave with a bound book of their handmade papers.

In this class, students will learn how to make paper. They will embed, layer, shape, and color the pulp, and explore different plants and techniques to make paper hydrangea, abaca, hemp, linen, even seaweed! Finally, students will be taught a simple stab binding technique to create a personal bound book out of their handmade papers.

Registration Fee: $90.00 for four (4) sessions / Materials Fee: $30.00 per person

By purchasing a ticket on BPT, I confirm my understanding that class enrollment in Papermaking is limited to 7 students.

Classes are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis; and though Trad Arts Studio will make every effort to secure my placement, but it is not fully guaranteed.

I further indicate that I have read, understand, and agree to the "CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY" as follows:

For cancellations made two weeks or more prior to the first session, a refund of 75% of registration fees will be issued. For cancellations made within two weeks of the session, a refund of 50% of registration fees will be issued.
