Catch a ride on the Sugar Shuttle to thru-hike from Sugarloaf to Hood Mt. Los Alamos lot.
Shuttle departs every-other-hour from Sugarloaf (first), and Los Alamos lot (NOT Pythian Road). Make a reservation, ride to the trails other end, hike back. Or vice-versa!
You will cross some of Sonoma Countys most important creeksincluding critical steelhead habitat. This 7.5-mile one-way hike includes 2,000 feet of climbing, and takes ~4-5 hours. Bring sunscreen, snacks, and lots of water.
