Africa Umoja Workshop

Africa Umoja, The Spirit of Togetherness is coming from South Africa to Metro-Atlanta for a limited engagement (October 30 through November 6). The show is an official good-will Ambassador for South Africa. Its a real South African show with an all-South African cast.

This award-winning, cultural and entertaining show is being presented at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts and Community Center in Decatur, GA. Africa Umoja is filled with joy and for many, is an educational insight into the South African culture - from tribal living through Apartheid to Hip-Hop! The show is presented by the International Arts Foundation in celebration of Nelson Mandelas 100th Birthday.

During their tour in Atlanta, DeKalb School of the Arts will Host a 2-hour workshop presented by Reigning Victory Dance Studio. The cost to attend this workshop is $5.00.

Please join us for a day of traditional South African drumming, dancing, and singing. After the workshop there will be a drum and dance exhibition by the cast of Africa Umoja.
