The Sutter County Republican Central Committee is excited to present Attorney General candidate Judge Steven Bailey (Ret.) as our keynote speaker. Joining Judge Bailey will be Secretary of State candidate Mark Meuser, State Controller candidate Konstantinos Roditis and Congressional candidate Charlie Schaupp

California's violent crime rate increased 4.1 percent from 2015 to 2016 in addition to a 24 percent increase from 2011 to 2015. California families and first responders are becoming less safe. Sadly, our incumbent Attorney General is focused more on fighting Washington D.C. than on fighting crime.

Judge Bailey (Ret.) is the only candidate with a background and expertise in criminal justice. Prior to being elected as a Superior Court Judge in El Dorado County, Judge Bailey was in private practice handling criminal and administrative law for 19 years. He earned the Certified Criminal Law Specialist designation from the California State Bar.

Judge Bailey is asking all Californians to unite in support of his campaign to bring a fair and impartial approach to the Attorney General's office and refocus the state's top law enforcement position on reducing crime.

Mark Meuser is committed to restoring integrity to California's voter registration rolls once he's elected Secretary of State.

Konstantinos Roditis has identified wasteful spending on projects like high-speed rail. As Controller he will begin audits of these programs and cut off spending for those that don't meet the mandates approved by voters or the Legislature.

Lt. Colonel Charlie Schaupp (Ret.) is a Marine Corps veteran and member of a fifth-generation farm family who understands the needs of Californias 3rd Congressional District.
