Site Information -- the conference takes place in Building C (Student Union)at Bellevue College. Parking is free all around campus. Doors open at 8 am for registration and breakfast and the program begins at 9 am. There will be directional signs around campus.
This conference will help schools, families and communities understand Social Emotional learning and inspire them to work together to create welcoming and engaging school environments where families can feel comfortable, confident and supported, and where every student can develop social skills and competencies to succeed across all aspects of our global society.
Who should attend?
Parents, educators, administrators, community partners, students, policy makers, early learning and special education professionals and anyone supporting the well-being of children and youth.
Why should you attend?
When schools and communities commit to promoting Social Emotional Learning they position themselves to develop partnerships to ensure that our education system is equitable, culturally responsive, and inclusive for all students. Join us and participate in Design Circles, hear inspiring speakers and learn from diverse communities and educators as they discuss these three guiding principles: Professional Learning, School-Family- Community Partnerships and Cultural Responsiveness.
Breakfast, lunch, free parking, clock hours and STARS for educators.
