Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Wonder Woman, Beyonce, The Handmaid's Tale, Rey from Star Wars, Hunger Games, Amy Schumer, Kamala Khan, Ava Duvernay, Rhianna...these are stories, characters and performers. They communicate a message to the general public about what it means to be female in todays day and age. Feminists can be funny, sassy, multi-talented, strong and loud.
