Song of the Soul Workshop
We warmly invite you to a special Song of the Soul' Workshop and 'Rose Elixer Ceremonial Concert' with Song-keeper Ayla Schafer, travelling back to the UK on one of her rare visits. This is to be a powerful, intimate and heart opening journey.
Friday 25th - Ayla Schafer will be sharing her stunning medicine music woven as a ceremonial journey with Rose Elixir. Accompanied by Misha Mullov-Abbado on double bass and Green T on percussion.
Support act from Avalon Roots (Acoustic), sharing Heartfelt, Acoustic Reggae Earth prayers that move the body and spirit opening a space to join our voices together.

Saturday 26th - Ayla is offering her 'Song of the Soul' Workshop, born from a deep passion to inspire others to awaken their unique soul voice and embody this expression in their life walk and purpose.

We will enter the magic of this evening by joining together in circle and warming our hearts with the spirit of Rose. This will support us to soothe our beings, lighten our spirit and help us to open the heart, connecting us deeper to ourselves and dropping into a deep listening with ourselves and each other, sowing our seeds of intention, sharing our voices and opening our selves to receive the music of the night.
Please bring with you a cushion/blanket/backrest to be cosy and comfortable

This workshop is held as a ceremonial journey with the power of our voice to awaken the expression of our souls song. Our voice is the only instrument created by God, it is our connection to the truth of our being and to the prayer that we carry.
To truly sing is a journey of remembering, getting out of the way and trusting in ourselves as we surrender to the spirit of sound in us.
This space will create an opportunity for a deep discovery and opening of our voice that is born from our connection with our heart, each other and ancient sacred ways. Together we will remember how to use song as tribal people have done for millennia, to connect and speak with the spirit of life, to celebrate, to pray and to give flight to our intentions and dreams.
We will explore:
*Vocal channeling of the elements of nature
*Connecting to the Earth energies using our breath and voice.
* Use different exercises to liberate our voice and learn how to use the voice as a tool for healing, communication and free expression.
*Explore harmonies and improvisation
*Learn traditional global tribal songs
*Play with drum/rattle
*Work with traditional rituals: the healing medicine and teachings from these ancient lineages that support us to ignite our authentic inner connection to the song within our own being and to focus our offering and intentions.
This workshop is beneficial for singers on all stages of the journey, from very beginner to advanced. And yes, we are all singers!
Please bring with you:
A pen and paper
A drum and/or Rattle
Water
Something comfy to sit on (Sheepskin/cushion) and a back rest if you have one
A stone, a flower and a feather to give as an offering
