Iota Phi Lambda - Lola M. Parker Luncheon
The San Francisco Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. Gamma Nu Chapter, is holding its annual Lola M. Parker Luncheon Honoring Outstanding Business and Professional Women of the San Francisco Bay Area. Iota Phi Lambda Sorority is an International Organization started in 1929 by seven African American women, founded by Lola M. Parker. The luncheon is named in her honor. This celebration is in coordination with the Sorority's April Business Month that occurs each April and seeks to recognize achievements and accomplishments of professional and business women in the community. The Luncheon also serves as the opportunity to recognize and award scholarships to very deserving graduating students who will be attending an accredited college or university in the fall. The luncheon acts as a major fundraiser supporting the scholarship effort. The luncheon recognizes women from across many industries and professions.
