The High Council with OSO and Caveman Ego
On Friday, May 18th, Substation will be hosting a higher consciousness, jam band night featuring four sets of music by three of the Pacific Northwests most mind melting acts. Substation is Seattles premiere underground music venue, located at 645 NW 45th Street.

The High Council will be playing two full sets. From the heart of the Evergreen State, The High Council explores the boundaries of melody and groove. With a blend of transcendent improvisation and earthy rock sensibilities, THC draws on elements of jazz, reggae, rock and psychedelia. The High Council members are lead guitarist Zeke Wakefield, rhythm guitarist Ryan Phillapart, bass guitarist Reign King, keyboardist Zack Olson, drummer JoJo Mascorella and percussionist Jeff Pang.

They will be joined by OSO. OSO was formed in Bellingham, Wa in 2014 and have developed a unique sound through improvisation, experimentation, and song writing. Primarily focusing on the space between OSO fuses jam, funk, rock, folk, trance, and disco sounds for a truly creative sonic journey into the mind. After gaining traction in their hometown of Bellingham, OSO began making festival appearances and performing shows abroad. We are excited to have them on this bill. You can check out their music on their Facebook page:

Playing support will be Caveman Ego, a progressive funk rock outfit from Seattle, Washington. Formed in 2014, the band melds their love of classic rock, funk, and jazz into a unique genre that can only be described as prehistoric anti-structural cave jams. You can learn more about them by looking at their Facebook page:

Don't miss out on this opportunity to see these three great acts.

Presale tickets are only $10.
Admission is $15 at the door.
