Accelerate: The Power of Play Workshop
Director Eva Sampson (Decades, Oval House and The Scarecrows Wedding, Leicester Square Theatre) leads a practical day long workshop exploring how play is essential in the rehearsal room and when making new work.
Participants will interrogate a variety of games and activities designed for use in a rehearsal room, a toolbox to:
- Maintain focus and self-discipline - Develop character intentions and motivations - Explore character relationships - Give life to scenes
Perfect for any Young Artists wanting to develop their sense of play! Its also going to be full of FUN!!
As a director Evas credits include: No Man's Land (National Theatre), A Peter Rabbit Tale (Singapore Repertory Theatre), Rudolf (West Yorkshire Playhouse), The Scarecrows' Wedding by Julia Donaldson, (Leicester Square Theatre), The Little Gardener (UK Tour & The National Theatre), Decades (Oval House) and Welcome to Thebes (Royal & Derngate).
Eva is an Associate artist of National Youth Theatre and a lead Facilitator with the Old Vic. Eva is also the Co-Artistic Director of How It Ended Ltd, a theatre company based in the South East.
