Chris Ross & The North with The Midnight Riders
Attention Music Lovers! Necessary Music Productions is excited to be collaborating with The Rockport Opera House & Flatbread Company Rockport Maine to bring the mighty Chris Ross and the North down from Hancock County for a real kickin' night of Maine Alt. Country music & songs! The show will be on Saturday, January 27th and will have an opening set from The Midnight Riders from right here in Knox and Waldo Counties. Yummy pizza, cold brewz, and wine will be available for purchase on site from Flatbread Company. All ages show, tickets are $20 and available at the door, which will open at 6:00PM with the show following at 6:30PM. During January physical tickets will be sold for CASH @ Flatbread Co. Children 12 and under are FREE! The Rockport Opera House is a beautiful musical landmark located just above the village of Rockport, Maine and this will be a great opportunity to experience a lovely evening of Maine music there!
Chris Ross & The North have released 2 critically acclaimed albums in the last few years. Young Once came out in 2015 right after Chris had won the Songwriter of The Year Award in 2014 at The New England Music Awards. They followed that up with the release of Over Lonesome in June of this year. They just finished a tour of the eastern and southern states and are excited to bring their specific down to earth & honest songs & spirits back to midcoast Maine for a show in a great old music venue with a long and storied history of its own. Chris Ross writes & sings the songs while The North consists of Ryan Curless on drums, Caleb Sweet on bass, and Zack Bence on electric guitar.

The Midnight Riders opened for The Mallett Brothers Band, with a 10 song all original set, on Saturday, June 17th at the Rockport Opera House right here in Knox County. And also played with TMBB, Chris Ross & The North & Sugarbush @ Music Made In Maine for the CG Fair weekend at Threshers Bruin Co. in Searsmont. They are an exciting live band featuring Will Neils on Lead Vocals, Emmett Lalor on Guitar, Bass & Lead Vocals, Mike Cole on Bass, Guitar & Lead Vocals & Derek Lane on Drums. All three singers have original songs the band will be performing in their shows that range from Alt. Country, Soul, Funk, Blues & Rock N' Roll while also doing songs by Maine based bands The Mallett Brothers & Waldo County's own Coloradas.
