"A Disconnected Heart" by C. G. Gardiner tells the story of two young lovers living on the paradise island of St. Sabastian in the Caribbean. Saul Hendricks and Cora Williams, an inter-racial couple commit to each other, until an unexpected, life-changing event occurs back in the U.S. and Saul is called home, leaving Cora alone.
