A Literary Coup
Join us in taking over Primrose Hill Community Library out of hours as we stage 'A Literary Coup': an immersive performance of short stories performed by actors and writers. In celebration of World Book Night, the theme of all stories will be libraries. Going beyond straight readings, the performance will involve curated film, dance, live music, sound and interactive book art. We are delighted to feature newly commissioned stories about libraries by writers including Nikesh Shukla (author of Meatspace, Coconut Unlimited and many short stories), poet Hannah Silva, playwright Sarah Grochala, Lucy Coggle, Ellen Wiles, performances of classic short stories by actors Susanna Hislop, Charlie Partridge and Maeve Leahy, dance by Michelle Bailey, and interactive book art by Chloe Spicer. Expect the chance to make a book art hat, eat an edible book and drink wine. Follow us @arkshortstories And tweet about it: #literarycoup http://arkshortstories.wix.com/arkshortstories
