Kainga Music presents a Music Appreciation class that will study Mahler's 5th Symphony in detail over four 1.5 hour classes held once a week. Total cost of $100 include lecturer, a CD of Mahler's 5th, a ticket to see the symphony at UCSD by the La Jolla Symphony, and service fees.
Classes are from 10am-11:30am every Saturday from October 18th thru November 8th. The performance at UCSD will be at 2pm on Sunday, November 9th.
Class location is at Carlsbad Senior Center in Arts Studio Room at 799 Pine Ave, Carlsbad, CA.
No music experience is required and preferred.
Class is open to ages 14 and up. (high school and up)
Transportation must be self provided to UCSD as Kainga Music cannot guarantee transportation to UCSD on November 9th.
Lecturer will be Keli Ross-Ma'u.
Kainga Music established its non-profit corporation 501(c)(3) in 2014. Proceeds from registration of this class will support education programs, instruction, and performances.
