Seattle's champion mc Mista Chatman returns to the Dub Mission stage for the first time this year where he'll perform his classics and brand new tunes. Expect some live "Remix" flavor as he chats over classic old skool Hip Hop beats and more surprises. Fun times ahead!! See you pon di dance floor.
Mista Chatman remains to be one of the most versatile Ragga MC's based on the west coast today. His energetic flow is reminiscent of the 90's era Dancehall style yet still modern enough to be relevant to current day listeners. He has performed and recorded with several top International performers and producers in genres of EDM, Bhangra, Reggae and Hip Hop music and performs regularly in Washington, Canada, California and New York. In May 2014, Chatman released his first solo recording of the year "Waiting" which featured vocals from Seattle R&B songstress Sistah Luv. This track exposed him to a different audience as it received generous airplay on several R&B, Soul and Urban radio stations. His current projects include re-launching his all-ages Reggae show Baby Luvs Reggae in Seattle. He is one of the featured performers in the upcoming First annual Seattle International Reggae Festival where he will share the bill with several established Reggae acts like Cocoa Tea, Michael Rose, Sister Carol, Dawn Penn and many others.

DJ Sep is the founder, promoter, and main resident DJ at Dub Mission. For 22 years, Sep was also on Bay Area radio: first at college radio station KUSF and later at Berkeley's public radio station, KPFA. She's the co-compiler (with producer Shockman) of Babylon Is Ours: The USA in Dub, a collection of all-exclusive American dub tracks (on Select Cuts). In 2009, Mochipet's Daly City Records released her remixes (with Jason Short) of "Get Your Dub Wet" featuring Juakali and Mista Chatman. Sep has won a Goldie Award (Bay Guardian) and been nominated for Best DJ (SF Weekly Music Awards). She has spun at venues in London, New York, Washington DC, Miami, and Los Angeles and has opened for the likes of Sly & Robbie, The Wailers, Culture, Big Youth, Les Nubians, Rachid Taha, Kinky, and The Cinematic Orchestra among many others. Her latest projects, the Biggering Riddim, an EP of original music featuring dr. Our special guest dj Matt Haze is one of the most forward-thinking and current DJs in SF. Haze rubs contemporary and classic jams with a marinade of cutting-edge beats and a nod to the old-school. He is best known for his work with SF's Slayers Club collective, dropping a collage of eclectic styles that play to the energy of the crowd rather than a prescribed subset of sounds. For his return to the Dub Mission arena, Matt will unleash an eclectic arsenal of exclusive tunes, roots, dub, remixes, steppers and a good dose of bashment tunes to spark up the Dub Mission massive.
