Screening of Growing Farmers

Please join us for a screening and panel discussion on our award-winning documentary film about the Trust's work with farmers on Long Island.

The film, co-produced by Hilary Leff and Michael Halsband, won the Audience Choice award for best short at the Hamptons International Film Festival in 2012, and has been very favorably received at film festivals across the United States, as well as in Prague, Czechoslovakia and Cork, Ireland.

The panel discussion, moderated by Betsy Davidson, Editor of Edible Long Island, will feature farmers Jen Campbell, Jill Garrick, Sean Pilger and John Condzella, along with Trust President John v.H. Halsey and Quail Hill Farm Director Scott Chaskey.

After the discussion, linger in the historic carriage house for light refreshments.

Parking at the Arboretum is Free for attendees, but we ask that you support our Food Drive by bringing non-perishable food items to help Island Harvest help our many neighbors on Long Island.
