Tsidii is accompanied by master Guinean guitarist Mamady Kouyate and Paul Pimsler. Mamady who was a pioneer in reviving Guinean music during the 1980s and 1990s, resurrected the legendary sound of Bembeya Jazz and played next to guitar hero Sekou Bembeya Diabate on the group's 2003 comeback album "Bembeya, and two world tours.Paul Pimsler is one of the most sought after guitarists having worked with several top artists including Chaka Khan,Jessica Simpson
Ruben Blades, Roberta Flack and Carol King among others. |
