Association September : 'Rewriting the Rules' Dinner with Old Salt/Grain & Gristle + Justin Lewis
September 15, 2013 7pm to 11pm 21+ limited batch of $65 tickets (gratuity not included)
UNION/PINE and Merit Badge will be hosting number six of 'Association', their monthly chef + speaker dinner series on Sunday September 15th.
September's dinner will be a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch feast prepared by owner of Old Salt and Grain & Gristle, Ben Meyer, and Old Salt chef, Jon Abby.
Instrument founder and strategy master, Justin Lewis' will talk to the crowd of 39 about 'Rewriting the Rules'. A Midwesterner with deep roots in rule-breaking, his thoughts will surely conjure up some laughs and some healthy conversation, and will send us all home with some tasty food for thought.
Merit Badge will feature a series of paired drinks with each course, including wines provided by Casa Bruno, and beer by Commons Brewery.
Miss Zummstein will be creating the delectable dessert, and floral will be supplied by the talented team at General Merriment.
Next Up : Cyril's will be hosting the 5 senses themed 'dark dinner' in October with Behavioral Neuroscientist Heide Island, Ph.D., and Gregory Gourdet of Departure will design a menu for our partnership with Edible Portland and Minto Island Growers on the third Sunday of November.
