Bare! True Stories of Sex Desire and Romance
Each month, Bare! True Stories of Sex, Desire and Romance brings together storytellers, comedians, sex educators and others to share true tales from their own experiences of sex, desire and romance. With stories as diverse as the people telling them, Bare! opens doors to bedrooms, back seats and dungeons to tell what your mama left out about the birds, bees and in-betweens.

Join our restless storytellers as they tell of paths worn on the prowl:

Hosted by Jefferson Bites
Dana Bruno
Kris Grey
Murf Meyer
Jenny Zigrino
Musical guest Stuckey N Murray

. . . and more! You've been on the make. Put your name in the hat for your chance to bare all on the Bare! stage.

. . . and still more! One lucky audience member will win our sexy raffle courtesy of Shag.

Jefferson is the curator and host of Bare! A sex educator and writer, Jefferson keeps a pseudonymous blog, One Life, Take Two, that details his life as a parent and pervert. He is a storyteller frequently seen on stages along the East Coast and elsewhere, including The Moth, where he is a StorySlam winner. He is also host of the monthly series Spill! True Stories of Queer Sex, Desire and Romance.

Dana Bruno, former latch key kid and heir to the Stella Doro Cookie throne, studied "the method" under Keanu Reeves, and went on to become the understudy for the role of Elaine on the NBC sitcom "Seinfeld." Dana enjoys rollerskating and arm wrestling. She also gives back to the community as a motivational speaker for animals in local shelters. When she's not telling stories to random people on the subway, Dana can be found performing on New York stages.

Kris Grey is queer. We're talking gender and sexuality. As an artist, activist, entertainer and educator, they find creative ways to tell stories with words and images. Kris's alter ego, Justin Credible, has appeared on stages great and small including the Stoop Storytelling series, the Creative Alliance, and Mobtown Theater in Baltimore as well as having been named the Baltimore City Paper's best drag king from 2007-09. Grey was a 2012 Fire Island Artist Residency recipient and the resident artist for the 2012 ANTI Festival for Contemporary Art in Kupoio, Finland.
Upcoming:

Murf Meyer is a lovable madman who was born and reared in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. He writes and performs for The Dependable Felons, a multimedia production company. The Felons are currently producing The Whiskey Tango Living Room Tour, a variety show performed in apartments all over NYC. Murf is also a regular panelist on The Chris Gethard Show, which airs live every Wednesday at 11:00pm on the Manhattan Neighborhood Network. He's a regular performer at the UCB Theatre, and co-hosts a sexy podcast called Ménage à Trois Radio. Follow his ass on Twitter @MurfMeyer.

Since erecting their empire ten years ago, comedy-music duo Stuckey & Murray have won the affection of millions by becoming semi-finalists on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and appearing on HBO's "Funny as Hell", "The Chelsea Handler Show" and other shows you probably didn't watch when they were on. If you didn't see them on TV, their music videos and sketches have over twenty million hits and they've built an international fan base by performing at The Edinburgh Fringe, SXSW, The Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Fest, Reading and Leeds, and  colleges across the U.S. Their new album We Tried was released June 25.

Jenny Zigrino performs nationally in clubs, colleges and festivals. Jenny recently featured for national acts Gilbert Gottfried and Josh Blue, and also worked with such great comics as Eddie Brill, Bonnie MacFarlane, Maria Bamford, Joe Wong and Carole Montgomery. She was featured in the Funny Females Showcase at the Boston Comedy Festival, hosted for the Women in Comedy Festival (2010 and 2011), Magners Comedy Festival 2011 and was a festival favorite at the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival 2012. She is featured on local television shows such as the internationally syndicated Steve Katsos Show and also in GO Magazine.
