The Theory of Accelerated Hotness
The world premier of three new short plays written by Andrew Batten, directed by Julia Haist, featuring Anne McMaster, Chris Peterson and Carley Thorne and stage managed by Carina Cojeen. These three plays, "Baby Talk", "Professional Development" and "The Theory of Accelerated Hotness", presented together as a seamless theatrical experience, explore issues of power and perspective in our world. Youthful idealism vs. mature pragmatism, dating, drinking, the perils of parenthood, men and women in the workplace and the #MeToo movement are all examined in dramatic and humourous ways.
