VDAY Harlem 2013 presents The Vagina Monologues

V-Day Harlem 2013 will be presenting a benefit performance of "The Vagina Monologues" with Delta Sigma Theta/New York Alumnae Chapter in Harlem, New York on April 13, 2013 at the NYPL's Schomburg Center for Research on Black Culture.
For the 5th year, we will be bringing together a wonderful and talented cast of women to perform Eve Ensler's award-winning play.
A reception with the cast and the complementary hors d'oeuvres and wine and beer will follow.

V-Day is a global activist movement to stop violence against women and girls. V-Day is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. V-Day generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation (FGM) and sex slavery.
All proceeds support Friends of the Congo, Greenhope, and VDAY's One Billion Rising campaign to end violence against women and children. Thank you for your support. We look forward to celebrating VDAY with you this year.
