Rock a Mile in Her Shoes is a benefit show for the YWCA Silicon Valley, supporting their sexual assault and domestic violence programs. The evening features the Greg Kihn Band. Greg Kihn is a member of the San Jose Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the San Jose Radio Hall of Fame. His band had a string of hits including the chart topping, toe tapping, "Jeopardy" and has opened for iconic bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Grateful Dead, and others. The opener for this event is Bay Area rockers, The Northern Rebels, who recently released their second album, Next Stop.
There will be a silent auction and raffle with many great items, including a Greg Kihn autographed guitar, wine baskets, sports memorabilia and many other great items. All guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped Christmas gift for children in YWCA shelters. All gift donors will receive 5 free raffle tickets in exchange for their donation. All raffle and silent auction proceeds go directly YWCA Silicon Valley as well as $10 from every ticket sold. General Admission tickets are $40 advance and $45 at the door. VIP tickets are available.
