Accelerate: Audition Technique

Then this masterclass is for you!
Over the course of a day-long masterclass participants will work with Christopher Elmer-Gorry (Artistic Director of Warts and All Theatre) and James Clements (Warts and All Theatre Associate Artist).
The Masterclass will provide you with the opportunity to develop your audition technique, work on a monologue of your choice and prepare a song for upcoming auditions. It's a great to way build your confidence and hone your skills.
Over the course of the day you will take part in:
- Audition technique workshop
- Performing a monologue workshop
- Acting through song workshop
- A mock audition
About the workshop leaders:
James Clements is a Composer and Musical Director. As well as an Associate Artist of Warts and All Theatre, He regularly auditions prospective students for London based drama schools. He has worked for Guildhall School of Music and Drama, The Julliard School in New York, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Royal National Theatre.
Christopher Elmer-Gorry is Artistic Director of Warts and All Theatre. He regularly sits on audition panels for University and Drama Schools. In recent years he has worked as a director for East 15 Acting School, University of Northampton and was course validator for Birmingham School of Acting. He has worked for many theatres in the UK including Royal & Derngate, Theatre Royal Plymouth, and Almeida Theatre, London.

Time: 10am-5pm
Venue: Doddridge Centre, Northampton.
Cost: £20 for the full day.
