An Evening of Clean Comedy!

If you love clean and very funny comedy, then mark your calendars for Sunday September 24 for the fifth annual Moorpark Friends of the Library Clean Comedy Night at the High Street Performing Arts Center, right here in old town Moorpark. This year we will again have three very accomplished and very funny stand-up comedians.

Jason Love is the mastermind behind our comedy evening, bringing us these talented comedians. In his own right he has performed in venues ranging from the Hollywood Improv to Carolines on Broadway to the Comic Strip in Edmonton. He has performed overseas for the troops and on the high seas for cruise lines. Jason was a finalist at the Cabo Comedy Festival and at the World Series of Comedy in Vegas. Says L.A. Weekly: "Jason Love is comedy that brings people together." Were lucky to have Jason as our impresario.

Tickets are $20 at the door, $18 in advance. Advance tickets can be purchased at the library and through Brown Paper Tickets. The doors open at 6:30 and the laughs start at 7:30. Wine and other refreshments will be available for purchase.

For those of you that have attended any of our previous Comedy Nights, you know how much fun the evening can be. For those of you who haven't attended yet, you're in for a very enjoyable evening at Moorpark's High Street Arts Center.

Best of all, all proceeds are donated directly to the library to support their reading and other programs. The Moorpark Friends of the Library is a 501 c.3 charitable organization.
