Original One-Man Two Act Play ~ 'INSIDE THE CUP' by Aaron Pitre
About 'Inside the Cup'

The Cosmos Coffee Cup a.k.a. the "Cup"; the world's most popular coffee shop, has just celebrated its thirtieth anniversary.  Known for delivering "coffee that is out of this world," the company could not have built its success had it not been for its state of the art stores around the world, and for the first-rate customer service of its employees. Now, for the first time, we get to go behind the closed doors of the Cup, and get a first-hand account of what it's really like to work there.

Inside the Cup is a one-person show in two acts written, conceptualized, and performed by Aaron Pitre. It is a story of human life told through nine fascinating characters and their experiences in working for the Cosmos Coffee Cup: the world's most famous coffee shop.

About Aaron Pitre

Aaron Pitre is an Actor, Playwright, Artist and Creative Coach from Seattle, Washington. He began acting at the age of five, when he was cast as a singing pumpkin in a production of 'Cinderella' with the Missoula Children's Theatre. He was quickly put into dance classes after his mother caught him teaching himself how to moonwalk in his grandmother's dining room; He has been dancing ever since.

Pitre studied dance at Ewajo dance in Seattle, and with Alyce Carella in West Hartford, CT. As a member of 'Kids Collective:' Ewajo's youth dance troupe, Pitre performed in collaboration with several dance companies including the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Native American Young Ladies Association, and Spectrum Dance. Although Aaron had participated in dance and theatre throughout most of his life, it wasn't until the ripe-old age of twelve, after playing George Spelvin in a middle school production of "The Actor's Nightmare," that he knew he wanted to pursue the performing arts as his career.

At the age of sixteen, Pitre made his professional debut as a dancer in a production of 'Black Nativity' with the Tony Award-winning Intiman Theatre (Seattle), performing to sold out shows eight times a week.
