** Show your Brown Paper Ticket receipt for 15% off dinner at Tavolo Restaurant before the show (exclusive of alcohol, tax & gratuity, as required by law). Tavolo is at 1918 Dorchester Ave, a quick 5 minute walk to the venue and immediately opposite Ashmont Station. **
7-string guitarist Beaudoin was inspired in his youth by the chordal sensibilities of Bucky Pizzarelli and the bluesy swing of Kenny Burrell, and has spent a career performing & recording with everyone from Pizzarelli to blues guitarist Ronnie Earl to J. Geils Band namesake Jay Geils to newgrass mandolin innovator David Grisman. These days he's focused on playing acoustic jazz classics and originals with his trio featuring his son Gerard Beaudoin III on vibraphone and, for this show, Neil Patton on bass. |
