Queer Camp is a summer-camp themed, substance-free weekend camping trip in which folks come together to actively practice radical inclusion, further our understanding and dedication to social justice, expand and deepen community and play together.
The weekend pivots around light programming - lovingly prepared meals, workshops and all-camp games, a variety show and camp fire - and also offers opportunity to individually connect with yourself and others at your own pace. You'll step up and back in whatever way feels best to you.
We are so excited to offer the first official Queer Camp Family Camp. This weekend, we welcome families of all size and scale and campers of all ages and attitude. We will offer programing to match, located in the beautiful Presidio in San Francisco.
A weekend in the woods surrounded by loving, playful queers? Yep, that's camp!
Tent, Sleeping bag and Sleeping pad provided!!
Camp Details:
Friday - Sunday, May 19-21st
Located in the Rob Hill Campground in The Presidio. Includes running water and bathrooms but no showers
All meals (chef-prepared, sustainable, dietary-need inclusive) provided in cost of ticket
We provide the gear (tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag).
Costumes encouraged
All are welcome - if the mission of camp resonates with you, there is a place for you at camp

An environment safe for exploring/growing our ideas about gender, queerness, social justice and community through a shared commitment to cultivating awareness, respect, and admiration for each other's differences and commonalities
Ticket Cost
Each ticket is $85 (early birthday)-$275
*Anything you contribute above $85 supports ongoing Queer Camp events and need-based campers scholarships. You'll have another opportunity to donate at the end of the camp weekend
This is an intergenerational, queer, family event, created to embody radical inclusivity for folks of all races, genders, religions, abilities, and socioeconomic statuses. If you are interested in coming to camp, but are unable to afford the registration fee, please contact slam@queer-camp.org to inquire about our scholarship policy. This is a not-for-profit event: the registration fee supports the high quality food and materials of the camp.
