Love, Peace and Happiness is the theme for the first Playing for Change Day event to be held in Saratoga Springs, NY. Celebrating the global Playing for Change Day (www.playingforchangeday.org) 2012 concert series, a collection of musicians will be performing at the historic Saratoga Music Hall on Broadway on Sunday, September 23. All proceeds will be donated to the Playing for Change Foundation (www.playingforchange.org)

The nonprofit Playing for Change Foundation was established in 2007 to support music schools and programs created and operated by the local community, and then connect those communities around the world. Playing for Change Day is a collection of musicians and music lovers gathering on stages, street corners, and schools to bring music into the lives of children and to promote positive social change everywhere in the spirit of the foundation. There are currently 223 events in 43 countries participating on Playing for Change Day 2012.
The Saratoga Springs afternoon music festival is scheduled to kick off at 2 PM.

Children under 12 are free.
