Ghost Light - Shawn Wright
In 2014, Shawn travelled back-and-forth between Toronto and New Brunswick to spend time in the nursing home with his dying mother, Regina. Their visits happened in the evenings, and coincided with Regina's favourite show: Murder She Wrote. Shawn was welcome to watch with her, but his mom had one strict rule: No talking until the commercials. It was during these breaks that his mom shared her most poignant, hilarious and revelatory life moments with her grown-up baby boy. As Angela Lansbury solved her cases, Shawn chronicled these precious encounters. Ghost Light is those stories... its her story.
Shawn Wright graduated from UNB with a degree in English Literature all the while honing his acting craft with Theatre St. Thomas.
